Queste immagini sono frutto di una ricerca iconografica e testuale molto complessa che ha richiesto vari mesi prima di essere concretizzata, sia per la difficoltà di realizzazione, sia per la ricerca nel vasto archivio fotografico dell’autore di tutte quelle immagini necessarie a completare il significato dell’opera.

L’espressione molteplice di immagini che si legano ad altre per significato o analogia ha portato alla creazione di scenari immaginari dal forte significato simbolico e connotati da ulteriori riferimenti testuali o iconografici che ne sottolineano ancora di più l’idea originale.

E’ forte il legame con il passato rappresentato, però, in forma contemporanea nell’accostamento di stili architettonici e di diversi elementi tratti da altre realtà e situazioni.

Vi è una rivisitazione, attraverso il mezzo fotografico, del percorso dell’uomo, letto attraverso le sue creazioni che, al di là del tempo che inevitabilmente trascorre, porta in un futuro fatto di tutto ciò che il passato ha lasciato.

La fotografia diventa così la memoria storica “attiva” che dona, a chi lo vuole “leggere”, lo spunto per pensare e/o ricordare da dove siamo venuti per sapere meglio chi siamo oggi e dove stiamo andando.

Molte immagini di questa raccolta rappresentano monumenti patrimonio dell’Unesco o comunque particolari tratti da centri storici, sempre patrimonio mondiale, come le finestre, i portoni, i batacchi, le vetrate istoriate o i Gargoyles. La tradizione popolare è rappresentata invece dagli spaventapasseri, spesso piccole opere d’arte effimere, o dagli amuleti usati per protezione.

These images are the result of a very complex text and picture research that required several months before being materialized, because of the difficulty of implementation, both for research in extensive photo archive of the author of all the images you need to complete the meaning of the work.

The expression of multiple images, that are linked to other meaningfully or analogy, has led to the creation of imaginary scenarios powerfully symbolic and characterized by additional textual or iconographic references that emphasize even more the original idea.

There is a strong link with the past represented, however, in contemporary form in the combination of architectural styles and different elements from other realities and situations.

There is a review, through photography, of the path of man read through his creations, beyond the time that elapses inevitably, leads to a future of all that history left.

The photography becomes the "active" historical memory that gives, to those who want to "read", the starting point for thinking and / or remember where we came to know better who we are today and where we are going to.

Many images in this collection represent UNESCO heritage monuments or other details from town centers, always world heritage, such as windows, doors, the clappers, the stained glass windows or Gargoyles. The folk tradition is represented instead by the scarecrow, often small works of ephemeral art, or the amulets used for protection.
